Terms of Service

Welcome to Astropanion. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Astropanion app (the "Service"), operated by NOSLEINAD INC ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Entertainment and Self-Reflection Purposes Only

Astropanion is provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. The astrological insights, compatibility scores, decision timing suggestions, and any content generated by the app (including AI-generated chat responses and relationship tips) are not:

• Professional financial, legal, medical, or psychological advice,
• A guarantee or prediction of any real-world outcome, or
• A substitute for your own judgment or professional consultation.

You are solely responsible for any decisions you make, whether or not informed by the Service.

3. Your Account

• You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate birth information for the Service to function as intended; we're not responsible for inaccurate results caused by incorrect input.
• You may delete your account at any time from Profile settings. This is permanent and cannot be undone.

4. Usernames and Friend Connections

• Your username is unique and, once set, cannot be changed.
• You can send and accept friend requests with other users. By connecting with someone, you agree that they will be able to see your zodiac signs (Sun/Moon/Rising) and a compatibility score. Your exact birth date, time, and location are never shared with other users under any circumstance.
• You're responsible for how you interact with other users. Harassment, impersonation, or abusive behavior toward other users may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit.
• Attempt to bypass, manipulate, or abuse the Service's content moderation, usage limits, or subscription tiers.
• Use the Service to harm, stalk, or harvest data about other users.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service's operation.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

• Certain features require a paid subscription, billed and processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — we cannot process cancellations or refunds directly.
• Refunds are subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund policies, not ours.
• Free-tier usage limits (e.g., daily analyses, lifetime compatibility checks) may change at our discretion.

7. User Content

• You retain ownership of the content you submit (scenario descriptions, journal entries, chat messages, profile photos).
• By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it back to you as part of operating the Service, and — where relevant to a feature you've opted into (such as compatibility with a friend) — to derive and share limited results (like a compatibility score) with that friend.
• We use automated content moderation and may remove content that violates these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, calculations, and underlying software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or proprietary technology beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INSIGHT, SCORE, OR RECOMMENDATION IT PROVIDES WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, [NOSLEINAD INC] SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING DECISIONS MADE BASED ON CONTENT PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHSPRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

12. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We'll notify you of material changes to the Terms through the app or by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of ONTARIO CANADA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. [INSERT: any arbitration clause or dispute-resolution process, if your lawyer recommends one.]
